How Does Invisalign Work?

After an examination and imaging of a patient’s smile, this information is sent to Invisalign technicians. A series of clear acrylic aligners are designed and 3D-printed for each patient. 

These aligners are sent back to our office and we meet with the patient to show them how the aligners are worn. The patient goes home and starts by wearing the first set of aligners for 22 hours a day, removing them for meals and cleaning their teeth. 

At the end of a week or two, the patient switches to the second set of aligners and so on for the duration of the treatment. 

When you’re wearing aligners, your friends may not even realize you’re getting orthodontic treatment!
